What is a urine dip card?
A simple, lightweight, and cost-effective device used to detect drugs of abuse in urine. It provides accurate results within 5 minutes and is ideal for frequent testing.
How many drugs can a urine dip card detect?
Between 5 and 14 drug groups, including amphetamines, cannabis (THC), cocaine, benzodiazepines, opiates, methadone, synthetic cannabinoids (K2/Spice), and more.
How do you use a urine dip card?
Check the expiry date, collect the urine sample (in a separate cup), remove the cap, dip the card without touching the plastic, wait until liquid appears in the window, remove and recap, place flat, and read after 5 minutes.
Are urine dip cards accurate?
Yes. Manufactured in an ISO 13485 accredited facility, UKCA marked, and built with highly sensitive test strips for reliable results.
How quickly can I get results from a urine dip card?
Results are available in about 5 minutes.
What’s the difference between a urine dip card and a urine cup?
Dip cards are a cost-effective alternative. Cups collect and test in one device; dip cards require a separate collection cup but are smaller and easier to store.
How should urine dip cards be stored?
Keep in a cool, dry place and use before the expiry date.
What drugs are included in a 14-panel urine dip card?
Amphetamines, Benzodiazepines, Buprenorphine, Cocaine, Barbiturates, Fentanyl, Ketamine, THC (Cannabis), EDDP (Methadone Metabolite), Tramadol, 6-MAM (heroin specific), Morphine (Opiates), K2/Spice, and Tricyclic Antidepressants.
Are urine dip cards a cheap alternative to lab screening?
Yes. They provide an affordable and fast screening option for organisations needing frequent testing without the time and cost of laboratory analysis.
Can urine dip cards detect synthetic drugs like K2/Spice?
Yes. Many of our multi-panel dip cards include targets for synthetic cannabinoids such as K2/Spice.
