How the Pen Test Works:

Step 1

Nil by mouth 10 minutes prior to testing.

Step 2

Check expiry, remove from pouch, and use within the hour.

Step 3

Remove the protective cap and place swab in mouth.

Step 4

Feed oral fluid into the swab until the oral fluid is seen in the test window.

Step 5

Remove swab from mouth after the control lines appear and replace the protective cap.

Step 6

Lay the test on a flat surface and wait. Negative results can be interpreted after 5 minutes, positives after 10 minutes.
